The edge bander, which feeds tape from a magazine and presses it home in the same pass — on the board or mounted to a bench, on straight edges and curves alike. Glue comes from a cartridge and melts only as it is used, so it never sits in a pot darkening and stringing, and changing colour is a cartridge swap rather than a purge. The application head is mounted horizontally so the machine balances, and hand pressure on the grips transfers to the contact roller.
