The magazine attachment and consumables for the collated screwdrivers. The magazine takes collated screws from 25 to 55 mm and sets driving depth on a thumbwheel, so the whole run goes in at one depth rather than each screw being judged by eye. Collated drywall screws are stocked in fine and coarse thread — fine for metal stud, coarse for timber — in the common lengths. Bits are supplied in threes because they wear, and a rounded bit is what starts camming out and tearing paper. The plain bit holder converts the machine back to single screws for the fixings a magazine can't reach.
