The attachments that make a belt sander controllable. The sanding frame is the important one: it surrounds the belt and rides on the workpiece, limiting how deep the belt can bite, so the machine levels a surface instead of gouging it. Sanding bases change the platen — a graphite-faced base for low friction and long belt life, a cork base where a softer contact suits the material. The bench unit inverts the machine and clamps it down, turning it into a small stationary linisher for shaping small parts against the belt. Dust bags fit where an extractor isn't connected.
