Drill stands for timber construction, where a hole through a beam has to come out where the drawing says it does. The fixed stand drills square to depths around 240 mm, taking bits up to 320 mm and diameters from 8 to 26 mm. The tiltable version swivels to 45° for angled holes and reaches deeper — around 310 mm, with bits to 460 mm — at about a kilo more weight. Both accept drills with 43 or 57 mm collars, so they fit the machines you already own rather than requiring a dedicated one.
