Cordless insulating-material saw

The cordless insulation saw — around 2.2 kg, cutting to 350 mm, and light enough to use one-handed while the other holds the batt. That combination is what makes it work in a loft or on a ladder, which is where most insulation gets cut. Its blades are matched to material: mineral and natural fibre, or rigid polyurethane board. Cordless is not a convenience here — it's the difference between cutting where the insulation is going and carrying every piece back to a bench.
